Cancel selected holdings

If your holdings in WorldCat are out of sync with your local system, you can send OCLC a file to begin a cancel holdings project. OCLC matches the data in your file to the WorldCat records to remove your OCLC symbol from those records. You may send these files on an ongoing basis or as a one-time project.

Remove all holdings

If your goal is to remove all of your holdings in WorldCat, request a “scan/delete” project. Scan/delete processing removes all occurrences of your OCLC institution symbol and can also remove all local data records (institution level only, not local library level). Scan/delete is a permanent process that cannot be reversed once it has been performed.
