Daniel Boivin became Director of OCLC Canada in 1997, and in 2010, his role expanded to include Latin America and the Caribbean. He assumes the financial, managerial and marketing responsibility for these regions. Prior to OCLC, Mr. Boivin owned a company that distributed electronic databases in Canada. He has been an account manager for a leading library automation vendor and an automated services librarian and cataloger at the Canadian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information, National Research Council Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Library Association, the Corporation of Professional Librarians of Quebec and the Association pour l'avancement des Sciences et des Techniques en Documentation. Mr. Boivin holds a Diploma in Pure and Applied Science from Cégep de Trois-Rivières, a Bachelor of Geology degree from the University of Montreal, a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Montreal and a Master of Business Administration degree from Concordia University.

Since 2004, Lucia has supported OCLC Members in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela. She presents on a variety of topics related to libraries, museums and archives throughout the region. Lucia’s professional experience includes the financial sector in Brazil and teaching English as a second language. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English. She holds degrees in accounting as well as international marketing.

Lucia is the primary author for the OCLC blog, A View of South America, where she writes about OCLC and library issues in the Latin American and Caribbean region. She is also the moderator of the América Latina y el Caribe group on the Americas Regional Council "Member-to-Member" social networking site.

Antonio has worked for OCLC since 1997 directly supporting the growth and expansion of OCLC in the Latin America and Caribbean area. Since 2005, he serves as Regional Manager with the responsibilities of managing and supporting OCLC’s operations in the Caribbean and Central America. In his career, Antonio has held many positions in companies and organizations related to the areas of computer science and higher education in the Dominican Republic and the U.S. During his tenure at OCLC, he found his passion promoting and introducing OCLC technologies to libraries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Alba is a graduate of the Universidad Dominicana O&M, in the Dominican Republic, majoring in Computer Systems Engineering. Afterwards he pursued a second degree in Business Administration in Newman University, in Kansas, USA; and currently, he is completing a Masters in Library Science (MLS) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mr. Alba is member of the American Library Association and an alumni from the ALA Spectrum Program.

Lizbeth Cruz joined OCLC in 2008, and assists members throughout Latin America and the Caribbean with training and implementation of OCLC services. She also provides sales support and attends regional conferences. Lizbeth is a graduate of the Colegio de Bibliotecología de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM. Prior to joining OCLC, she worked in the Centro de Documentación of CONADIC, (Consejo Nacional Contra las Adicciones), in the library of las Artes del CENART of CONACULTA (Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes) and finally at EBSCO México as head of the User Services Department.
